In August 2008 Yves put his graphic design career on the back burner, free ing him to con cen trate on his writ ing and related activ i ties in the dig i tal type busi ness. He writes his Bald Con densed type reviews on Typog​ra​pher.org and edits Unzipped, the blog on the FontShop BeNeLux home page. Yves also is an accom plished drum mer with British/Belgian pop/rock band Trou ble man. His talent for being able to iden tify most type faces on sight is utterly use­less in daily life.
