Annarita Tranfici
Freelance Translator
My name is Annarita Tranfici and I am a London-based Italian professional translator.
I translate from English, French and Spanish into Italian.
I started my career mainly with literary works – Frances Hodgson Burnett, Charles Baudelaire, Irène Némirovsky - and I extended my areas of expertise towards Tourism, Travel, Food and Cooking, Education, Journalism, Software & Information Technology, Business & Finance.
My experience in translation, including working for several Italian publishers and cultural associations, has spanned a wide range of global contexts and has seen me translate documents of a business, advertorial, financial, marketing and technical nature, as well as literary texts. I have experience in translating technical articles and manuals, brochures and company presentations, reports, data sheets, product literature, press releases and catalogs.
Currently I am working as a freelance copywriter as well. I am a regular contributor to Sociart Network and VesuvioLive but I also collaborate as a technical writer for SitePoint and Telerik Developer Network, and as a volunteer translator at Envato Tuts+.
Among my experiences, I include a year working as a web designer. Specifically, I employed technologies such as HTML and CSS, and graphic software like Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
